Homemade Granola

My weekend at T in the Park consisted of a breakfast of homemade granola with soy coconut yogurt and berries… THANK YOU Kirsty…

That inspired me to make my own and this was the recipe I made

200g Gluten Free oats

100g Buckwheat

Handful Almonds

Handful Cashews

Handful Pumpkin Seeds

Handful Sunflower Seeds

2 Tablespoons Flax Seed

2 Tablespoons Sesame Seed

2 Tablespoons Hemp

2 Tablespoons Shredded Coconut

2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

3 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

Heat coconut oil and maple syrup together to make runny

Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix – if you want the mix to be more clumpy add more maple syrup to make it stick together more.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 180deg for 10mins, mix through then bake for a further 10-15mins until golden brown.

You can use any selection of nuts, seeds and substitute the maple syrup for honey.

Allow to cool then store in an air tight container ready to enjoy.
