It has been a while since we have had a treat with the new year, healthy eating… so time for a wee treat (that is kind of healthy too)

Chocolate Mousse

½ avocado

1 tablespoon raw cacao (or cocoa powder)

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey


Mash or blend ingredients together

Top with some chopped nuts and berries (raspberries and blueberries are delicious)

Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours, then enjoy.
